Here are some tips to help you get started with Social Groovy™

  • Spam or bullying should be immediately reported to admin@socialgroovy.com
    We take these incidents very seriously on Social Groovy™ and your reporting will help us keep this a safe place.
  • Separate interests you add to your profile with commas so you can connect with others who have the same interests.
  • Use the Share button when you post an update to share the post on different social networks, including Facebook and Twitter.
  • The icons near your update area allow you to post a photo, video, or link to a website.
  • Use @username when you are giving a shout out to your friend. For example, “Going to the mall with @johndoe” or “@johndoe, What are you doing this weekend?”
  • Your username can be changed easily at any time by going to Settings > Change Username
  • Notifications can be changed by going to Settings > Notifications
  • You can create a group for a band, website, brand, or anything you might think of by clicking Groups > Create a Group
  • Photos can be uploaded to your album and tagged by visiting your profile when logged in and clicking the Album tab.
  • You can chat with friends who are online by clicking the Who’s Online link in the bottom right. The chat system is in beta; please inform us of any bugs using the email at the bottom of this page.
  • Private messages can be sent to one or more people on the site. Use them to give announcements to your friends or to have a multi-person conversation!
  • Privacy settings can be controlled from Settings > Privacy or individually set when you’re editing your profile.
